Thanks to the London City Film Awards Festival

Yesterday, The Crossing won at the London City Film Awards Festival for Best Animation. I am absolutely over the moon and can’t wait to add the award onto my book shelf at work.

This project really was a labour of love and I dedicated all my time for 3 months to work on it so getting some recognition like this and also at the Creativepool awards is such a great feeling.

Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to make it myself so my editor/writer/producer friend Steven Coates went to pick up the trophy for me. He was massively impressed with the quality of work on show. I’m gutted because my short film was played on the big screen at London’s Genesis Cinema

I’ve not submitted it to any new festivals so this might well be the last award it receives but it’s been a fun ride and I look forward to working on another personal project soon that I can submit to other festivals. It might take a while though as this will be self-funded.
